When founder Paul Francis was a student at Gainesville State College (Now The University of North Georgia - Gainesville), he created a mock company as part of a project for an accounting class.  The professor would occasionally discuss the bed and breakfast she and her husband owned that they dedicated to couples therapy.  What better name for Paul's mock-up company than Notel Motel?

Shortly after buying his first investment property in December 2012, Paul Francis registered Notel Motel, LLC. - now an actual legit company.

Having two sources of income - a day job, and now rental income - as well as a desire to purchase more real estate in what was then an inexpensive market, the company purchased more homes over the next several years.

With the management of Joe Silva's Titan Realty Advisors and Tom Patterson's Patterson Services, Notel Motel is now purchasing distressed properties and leasing homes in Athens and Gainesville, Georgia.

Notel Motel's mission is providing quality housing for quality people.  We achieve this by keeping well-maintained properties, and by keeping our rents rates reasonable even during challenging times.  Our goal is to build as many years-long working relationships with our renters as we are able to.
